ACE Program Information The Adult Learning Centre and Northern College entered into a partnership in January of 2007 to deliver the ACE program in Iroquois Falls. We are also delivering LBS programming at the Northern College LBS site in Cochrane, preparing to bridge clients to the ACE program. ACE stands for Academic and Career Entrance Program. What is ACE? ACE is a Grade 12 equivalent college program. It prepares you for admission to a college post-secondary program or apprenticeship. ACE is recognized as a Grade 12 equivalent by colleges and apprenticeship programs and for purpose of admission to post-secondary programming. Program Cost You may qualify to receive ACE training and material free of charge through the Ontario Basic Skills program. You may also qualify for assistance with transportation costs and child care costs. Note: Students opting for blended delivery are required to purchase books. Subjects / Graduation Requirements Course selection may be based upon your specific needs. To obtain an ACE Certificate, you must complete one Communications (English) and a core Math course, and any two other courses. Available Courses
